TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. INTRODUCTION
Thank you for considering booking a consultation with Sonia Cousillas Homeopathy.
By booking a consultation, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. These terms form a legally binding agreement between you and the practitioner.
These Terms apply to all consultations, whether for yourself or for a person you are legally responsible for.
2. BOOKING & INTERNATIONAL PRACTICE
When booking your consultation, you must ensure you have selected the correct time zone. I am based in the United Kingdom, and all consultations are scheduled in UK time.
This service is available internationally, including clients located in Europe, the United States, Canada, and other countries worldwide. Consultations are provided remotely via secure online communication platforms.
By booking, you acknowledge and agree that:

3. FEES & PAYMENT
Fees are payable at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Where invoicing is used, payment must be made within 24 hours of issue or consultation.
Failure to make payment may result in cancellation of future appointments and withholding of further services.
4. CANCELLATION POLICY
A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellation or rescheduling.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, or failure to attend a scheduled appointment, will be charged in full.
5. THE CONSULTATION
All consultations are conducted remotely unless otherwise agreed in advance.
Appointments begin and end at the scheduled time. If you arrive late, the consultation will still end at the originally scheduled time and the full fee remains payable.
Consultations are conducted in English unless otherwise agreed.
The practitioner also speaks Spanish and has understanding of Italian, Portuguese and Galician.
If at any point language differences create a risk to understanding, clinical safety, or informed consent, the consultation may be paused, slowed, or adjusted to ensure safe communication.
Video consultations are conducted via secure third-party platforms such as Zoom or similar services. A secure link will be provided prior to the appointment.
If technical failure occurs, reasonable alternative arrangements will be made where possible.
Additional information such as photographs, medical history updates, or written clarification may be requested where clinically necessary.
6. CONTACT BETWEEN CONSULTATIONS
Contact outside scheduled consultations is limited and agreed on a case-by-case basis.
This may include email communication for clinical clarification, prescription follow-up, or administrative purposes.
7. HOMEOPATHY & MEDICAL CARE
Homeopathy is a complementary healthcare system intended to support general wellbeing and vitality.
It is not a substitute for medical diagnosis, treatment, emergency care, or advice from a qualified medical practitioner.
You are strongly advised to continue to consult your GP or relevant healthcare provider regarding any medical condition, symptom, or medication.
You must not discontinue prescribed medication without consultation with your medical doctor.
8. EMERGENCY CARE
This service does not provide emergency medical care.
If you are experiencing a medical emergency, you must contact emergency services or your local urgent care provider immediately.
9. CONFIDENTIALITY
All client information is treated as strictly confidential.
Information will not be shared with third parties without your explicit consent, except where required by law, safeguarding obligations, or professional duty.
10. TECHNOLOGY & ONLINE CONSULTATIONS
Consultations may be conducted via third-party digital platforms (e.g. Zoom or similar).
While reasonable steps are taken to protect confidentiality and data security, absolute security of electronic communication cannot be guaranteed.
You accept the inherent risks of online communication.
11. MEDICAL DISCLAIMER
Homeopathy is a complementary healthcare approach intended to support general wellbeing and vitality.
It does not diagnose, treat, or cure medical conditions, diseases, or disorders.
No claims are made regarding specific outcomes or guaranteed results.
Homeopathic treatment is not a substitute for professional medical care, diagnosis, or treatment.
You are advised to always consult a qualified medical practitioner regarding any health concerns.
Nothing stated in consultations, communications, or materials should be interpreted as medical advice or a guarantee of outcome.
12. DATA PROTECTION & RECORD KEEPING

This Agreement, and any dispute or claim arising from it, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
You agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with this Agreement.
If you access services from outside the United Kingdom, you are responsible for compliance with the laws of your own jurisdiction.
Nothing in this agreement overrides any mandatory consumer rights applicable in your country of residence.
16. CODE OF CONDUCT
The practitioner adheres to the Code of Ethics and Practice of the Society of Homeopaths.
